Closing Session with Pastor Charisse Alvarez
MAIN SESSIONS
Pastor Charisse Alvarez, a native of Brooklyn, NY with a dedicated 25 year career in Social work while serving her inner community. She and her husband, Pastor Edgar Alvarez are the founders and Senior pastors of a wonderful 500+ member congregation, High Place Church in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. There she has humbly served tirelessly for the Lord for the past 16 years in several ministries but particularly as the Women’s ministry leader encouraging and empowering women from all walks of life, from one Sister to Another she is often quoted by saying “we are better together”. Pastor Charisse has been most influential to the unchurched population since she came to know Christ at her adult age in a very radical way with no pastoral or ministerial lineage preceding her.
Pastor Charisse has been married to her childhood crush for 27 years and has 4 amazing children and 1 grandbaby who bring her all of life’s joys and fulfillment. She is a sought-after preacher, teacher, and counselor. Her source of motivation is found in Matthew 19:26, wherein it says, "with God, all things are possible."

Fundraiser
We have a wonderful opportunity to help provide
Christmas stocking items to the girls of New Hope in Dominican Republic.
New Hope Girls is a non-profit organization based in the Dominican Republic and produces beautiful bags that rescue girls and empower women. Each artisan is a mother, who is invited into a safe work community and taught to sew so she can provide for her children with honor and dignity. The artisans create high-quality artisan bags and the profit from the sale of their beautiful bags fuels the work of rescue of young girls caught in cycles of exploitation. New Hope Girls welcomes these girls into safe homes and cares for them as daughters providing high quality education, trauma informed therapy, and family. It is a transformative model used to break cycles of exploitation and replace them with cycles of empowerment. Learn more at www.NewHopeGirls.com.
